About Me

My name is David Pickering of Independent Financial Advisory Services (IFAS), and I have been in Financial Services since 1985, starting out in the Home Services sector, and making the step forward to Independent status in 2000. I have the Financial Planning Certificate and Mortgage Advice Qualification which are both issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute, and with over 22 years of experience we can provide a flexible, comprehensive and professional service. IFAS are Independent Financial Advisors, and as such can offer you unbiased financial and mortgage advice from the marketplace as a whole.

Based in Washington, and with sub offices within Andrew McLean Estate Agents in South Shields and Chantry Estate Agents, West Road, Newcastle. We are able to provide consultations at our offices, in the comfort of your own home, or place of work. The majority of our clients reside throughout the North East of England, and in some instances further afield.
